The IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) Exhibition is a landmark event in the IB continuum, giving students the opportunity to synthesise their learning across disciplines, demonstrate genuine inquiry, and present work that connects to real-world issues and personal passions.
At Pledge Harbor International School — an IB Boarding School in Dhaka where the full IB continuum from PYP through MYP to DP is lived and breathed every day — the MYP Exhibition is one of the most anticipated events of the academic year. And the 2026 edition surpassed every expectation.

A particular highlight was the students’ artistic exploration of Shakespeare — a journey that traced the progression of dramatic understanding, interpretation, and performance across the MYP years. Watching our students inhabit the language and world of Shakespeare with confidence and nuance was a proud reminder of the literary and cultural depth nurtured at PHIS.
Equally captivating were the bilingual drama performances in English and Spanish — a stunning demonstration of linguistic agility, cultural awareness, and the kind of global-minded creativity that sets IB students in Bangladesh apart. In a single performance, our students embodied the IB’s vision of internationally minded young people who communicate across cultures with ease and authenticity.
One of the most moving dimensions of the MYP Exhibition 2026 was the visible, tangible impact of Service as Action — the MYP’s commitment to ensuring that learning translates into meaningful contribution to the wider world.
